Calculate sale price, discount amount, and how much you save — list price vs offer price for shopping and GST-inclusive bills.
Why this matters
“50% off!” sounds great until you stack it: 50% + 20% + 10% off is NOT 80% off. It's about 64% off. (50% off a ₹1,000 shirt makes it ₹500. Then 20% off makes it ₹400. Then 10% off makes it ₹360 — not ₹200.) This calculator handles the actual math for both stacked discounts and GST-inclusive bills where the “discount” is on a price that already has tax baked in.
It also does reverse calculation — when a tag shows “Sale price: ₹2,400 (40% off)” and you want to know the original MRP. Most retailers price this confusingly during festival sales, and getting it wrong means comparing deals across brands incorrectly.
Best uses: decoding stacked sale tags during Amazon/Flipkart sales, calculating the effective discount when “extra 10% off with HDFC card” is layered on a base sale, and checking the true MRP on “was/now” displays in Indian retail.

Sale price math without the fine print fog
Use % off when a store shows “25% off MRP”, or Was → now when you only see two prices and want the true discount percentage. Results use Indian number formatting for rupee shopping.
Festival sales in India
During Diwali and big e-commerce events, “upto 80% off” banners often apply to select SKUs. Punch the actual MRP and cart price here before you buy. Pair with the GST Calculator if you need tax-exclusive figures for business purchases.
