Short Links That Actually Work
Most "URL shortener" tools online require you to sign up, show you ads, track your visitors, or worse — sell your click data. This shortener is different: it creates real, functional short links backed by Cloudflare's global edge network. When someone clicks your short link, the server looks up the original URL and redirects them — typically in under 50 milliseconds, from the nearest data center. The redirect is a standard HTTP 302 (temporary redirect), which means analytics tools and search engines will follow it to the original URL while still showing the short link in social media previews.
Click Tracking, No Surveillance
The shortener tracks one thing: how many times each short code has been used. That's it. No IP addresses logged, no user agents stored, no referrer tracking, no audience profiling. You see a single number — the total click count — and that's the only data the server keeps beyond the URL mapping itself. The tool does not use cookies, does not set tracking pixels, and does not integrate with any third-party analytics. Your links and their click counts are private between you and the server.
Custom Codes for Branded Links
For memorable short links, enable the custom code option. Instead of a random string, you get something meaningful: destinationdazzle.in/s/launch for a product launch, destinationdazzle.in/s/pricing for a pricing page, or destinationdazzle.in/s/twitter for a social media link. Custom codes must be 3-20 characters and can include letters, digits, underscores, and hyphens. If your chosen code is already taken, the server tells you and you can try another. This is useful for QR codes, printed materials, or anywhere you want a short link that humans can actually remember.
1-Year Expiration
Short links are stored for 1 year (365 days) from creation, then automatically expire. This is a pragmatic balance: long enough for any real use case (marketing campaigns, social media, QR codes on printed materials) while preventing the database from growing unbounded. If you need permanent links or high-volume use, consider a dedicated service. For everything else — quick shares, temporary campaigns, testing — this is free, instant, and requires no account.
